Ate here a few weeks ago.
The food was delicious but the atmosphere could really us a sprucing up. Seemed like we were eating in someone's basement. Old wood paneling and phony oil paintings did not add to the dining experience.
Service was excellent and the Zuppa di Mussels were superb. Nice and spicy. Our Veal dishes were also excellently prepared.
We will definitely go back but I wish they would renovate since the owners of the restaurant also own the building. -

Came here from my uncles birthday based off a recommendation from someone else. I'm not from Brooklyn but my family is. When I come here I have this idea in my head that I'm going to have the best Italian food. This place was a disappointment. To start off, drinks were good. Apps we had fried calamari and mozzarella and tomato as well as stuffed mushrooms. The appetizers were great! For entree I ordered tortellini Alfredo. It was sooooo bad! I never had Alfredo sauce that tasted legit like egg drop soup. No cream, no butter, not sure what it was! I am usually not one to send back but I had to. Other people in my party ordered the same sauce and they sent back too. My cousin wanted to order a vodka sauce and he said to her not to do it because they aren't that good at making it. What?? I was shocked and turned off at that statement. So we switched to the shrimp parm. Shrimp was good but the sauce super watery. Also there was nobody in the place and it took a while for our whole table to be refilled with water. I won't be back here sad to say. I'll stick to l and b if I want good Italian in Brooklyn. But you can honestly find better Italian out where I live or the city, compared to this.

When I went the first time, I didn't have the best experience. I was willing to give it another chance and wow. The food was out of this world and the waiters are super nice and friendly. The dishes are made with love and you can actually taste it. A hidden spot in the heart of Bensonhurst!

The mussels are fantastic and the homemade ravioli so light and delicious. Service is also homemade with two brothers ready to cater to your taste buds. Mamma and papa work tirelessly in the kitchen making traditional food just like grandma's house.
